Your drive will arrive with Mac HFS+ formatting, and is fully compatible with with either OSX 10.0.3 and newer.

You can manage it exactly like your internal drive, through the "Disk Utility" located in your "Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/" folder. Multiple drives can be combined into a RAID array, using OSX's Disk Utility, for large scale network storage.

Ramjet external drives use high-performance Seagate, 7200RPM, 16mb Buffer drives.
